Blood is vital to life

​​To protect this vital resource, the OptiBlood team of dedicated researchers from a wide range of clinical backgrounds is focused on the following goals:
  • To optimise the patient’s own blood reserve through effective patient blood management.
  • To optimise use of the valuable and limited resource of human blood products.
  • To optimise the quality of blood products to minimise the risk of adverse events.
